One person is recovering from injuries following a motorcycle accident over the weekend.
WBAY reports that the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the single motorcycle crash in the Town of Mitchell just after 1:00 p.m., Saturday (September 28th) on County Highway F near County Highway W.
The accident occurred when the motorcycle operator passed a vehicle at normal speeds in a designated passing zone.
While making the pass, they entered a curve, pushing them into the gravel shoulder, but they could not get back on the road quickly enough.
This resulted in them hitting a driveway entrance and throwing the driver off the motorcycle.
The unidentified driver was wearing a helmet during the incident and was taken to Froedtert Hospital via Flight for Life.
Orange Cross Ambulance, Beechwood Fire Department, and Cascade Fire Rescue assisted the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office in their response.
