The Manitowoc County Health Department has announced two upcoming walk in flu clinics for children.
Korina Aghmar, the Health Officer for the County, tells Seehafer News that any child 6 months to 18 years old can get a free flu vaccine on Saturday, October 12th, at the Manitowoc Public Library (707 Quay Street) between 10:00 and noon, or at the Valders Community Center (420 North Liberty Street) on Tuesday, October 22nd, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Aghmar noted that the clinics are specifically designed for “families who may have barriers in getting to our office during the normal business hours, and are open to all children regardless of insurance status.”
Families that cannot attend either of these clinics are encouraged to visit their healthcare provider or a local pharmacy to receive their vaccines.
