There are six Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (October 2nd).
First up was the Local Emergency Planning Committee, which was in the Communications and Technology Building at 9:00 this morning.
They voted on the facility plan updates, and elected a vice-chair before getting updates on Hazmat responses and Emergency Management Office Operations.
Then, starting at 5:00 p.m., the Expo-Ice Center Board will hold four subcommittee meetings in the Expo Office.
The Finance Sub-Committee will start the night off by talking about parking permits and camping rates for upcoming Manitowoc County Fairs.
Then, the Entertainment and Vendor Sub-Committee will look over several fair contracts, after which, the Marketing and Advertising Sub-Committee will determine the theme and colors for next year’s fair.
The Operations Sub-Committee will meet at 6:30 to talk about which contests will return next year, after which, the full Board will meet to review all of those topics, and others related to the fair and events happening at the Expo Grounds.
