A Chilton nature center is inviting the public out to learn about the animals that many people fear.
Ledgeview Nature Center has announced that on October 12th, they are holding an event called “Creepy Crawlies,” which aims to educate the public on snakes, spiders, centipedes, roaches, and more.
The family-friendly event will dive into the world of misunderstood creatures that many find intimidating or even scary.
Guests will learn about their unique adaptations, natural habitats, and the vital roles they play in the ecosystem.
For the brave-hearted, there will be an opportunity to handle some of the creatures.
Renee from J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue will lead the event, which will begin at 2:00 p.m. at W2348 Short Rd, Chilton.
The event is free and open to the public.
