The City of Manitowoc’s public power utility will be hosting a community event in honor of National Public Power Week.
On Tuesday, October 8th, Manitowoc Public Utilities will welcome members of the community into their power plant for tours, while electric demonstrations will be held in the parking lot from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Additionally, a bucket truck will be giving rides, and treats will be offered.
Tours at the plant located at 1303 South 8th Street will run every half hour, with the final tour beginning at 6:00.
