The Kiel Raiders move up three spots from fifth to second in this week’s wissports.net Division Five High School Football coaches poll released Tuesday.
The undefeated Raiders have already secured a playoff berth and are looking to finish the regular season strong and possibly earn a top seed as they make a short trip to rival New Holstein on Friday night.
The Huskies are 4 and 1 in The Eastern Wisconsin Conference, just a game behind the Raiders, and are playoff-eligible.
Stratford replaces Wrightstown atop the poll after the Tigers fell to sixth following their loss to Freedom last Friday night.
St. Mary’s Springs (Fond Du Lac) drops from third to ninth after losing to Lomira 21 to 7 last week. Freedom and Winneconne are fifth and seventh in Division Four.
Notre Dame (Green Bay) remains atop the Division Three rankings. In Division Two, Kaukauna is fifth, and West De Pere is eighth.
Following their one-point loss to Neenah last week, Kimberly falls from first to fourth in Division One.
Bonduel remains tenth in Division Six, and the Potosi/Cassville co-op holds firm at number one in Division Seven.
