The woman who crashed her car into a building causing a partial collapse has been sentenced.
FOX11 reports that 30-year-old Merissa Reed was sentenced yesterday (October 8th) for the crash that took place in July of 2023.
Reed was sentenced to one year in jail after previously pleading no contest to bail jumping and reckless driving, causing great bodily harm charges.
As we previously reported last year, Reed crashed into the Main Street Commons building in Green Bay.
The crash resulted in a partial collapse of the building, which eventually led to its complete demolition.
The Main Street Commons housed numerous businesses which were forced to relocate as a result of Reed’s actions.
