A fundraiser of international flair returns to Roncalli High School next month.
The Roncalli International Food Fair will again take place at the high school beginning at 5:00 pm on Saturday, November 2nd.
The event features food and desserts made by local and area restaurants. Cuisines this year include Americana, Greek, German, Italian, Southern, and more.
Roncalli’s Director of Advancement Candice Giesen said on WOMT’s After Further Review that the International Food Festival is free, however, you must pay for a punch card worth either $5, $10, or $20, and must be over 21.
“It is intended that you come and be able to try a variety of things,” Giesen explained. “If you’re going with someone, you can share like ‘Let’s try this.’”
The food fair also includes an oral and silent auction with packages including experience, sports memorabilia, and new this year, a smoker.
Giesen explained that there is something else new this year called the Kid Zone.
“You have an opportunity to bid on silent auction items that you might want put in your children’s stockings for gift giving,” she stated.
The Gift Collection Raffle will also include an array of items available for bidding.
The International Food Fair book that will be given out before the event will be released sometime next week.
