The man accused of a fatal hit-and-run in Oshkosh has been officially charged.
In his first court hearing last Friday (October 11th), 21-year-old Drake Dodge had his bond set at $20,000.
WBAY reports that according to a criminal complaint, a man was found lying in the road around New York Avenue and Algoma Boulevard in Oshkosh just before 3:00 am on October 5th.
A witness noticed the victim and called 911, but it was too late, and the person died.
The complaint continues, saying Drake turned himself in and admitted to hitting the man.
Drake also said he pulled over after hitting the person and was freaking out because he didn’t know what to do.
He also allegedly admitted to drinking that night.
Drake’s next court hearing is set for October 17th at 8:30 am.
