The Sheboygan Area School District (SASD) will be holding an information session and tour ahead of the November referendum vote.
The info session and tour of Farnsworth Middle School will take place tomorrow (October 17th) at 6:30 p.m.
SASD has proposed a $121 million referendum which includes rebuilding and remodeling both Farnsworth and Urban Middle Schools.
Both schools are nearly 100 years old and are in dire need of improvements.
Aging infrastructure, safety and security, and inadequate classrooms and support areas are the major issues the middle schools are facing.
If passed, the referendum would increase the property tax mill rate by 20 cents per $1,000 of property value or $20 per $100,000 of property value.
The info session will have a presentation followed by SASD representatives and Bray Architects answering questions from those in attendance.
