Members of the Sheboygan community have been invited to participate in a reforestation project.
The project will take place at Grant Elementary School on Saturday (October 19th), beginning at 8:00 a.m. before moving to Cooper Elementary School at 10:00 a.m.
The reforestation project is being held by the Sheboygan Area School District, Sheboygan North and South Interact Clubs, and the Sheboygan Rotary Club.
The goal on the 19th is to plant several dozens of trees at both schools.
Those wishing to take part are invited to join, regardless of how much time you have.
Participants are also encouraged to bring rakes, shovels, and clothes suitable for working during a brisk October morning.
Both Grant and Cooper Elementary Schools are located in Sheboygan at 1528 North 5th Street and 2014 Cooper Avenue, respectively.
