Visitor Information Kiosks have now been set up around Manitowoc.
Visit Manitowoc Executive Director Courtney Hansen explains that the four kiosks have been set up in key, high-traffic locations around Manitowoc, including the Inn on Maritime Bay and Holiday Inn.
Another was set up in front of the Visit Manitowoc Office on 8th Street while a portable one will be brought around town for different events.
Hansen says this project has been on the city’s mind for years.
She continues by saying, “These interactive kiosks, which sync seamlessly with existing systems, have already proven themselves to be a vital piece of our visitor engagement strategy.”
The Manitowoc Common Council approved using $70,000 from their room tax to go toward the kiosks in March.
