A semi-pro football league that features a local team has expanded.
The Midwest United Football League announced the addition of seven new teams, including the Brown County Blackjacks.
Also joining the league are the Illinois Cowboys, the River City Rough Riders, the Madison Mad Dawgs, the Midwest Warriors, the Red Cedar Raptors, and the St Paul Pioneers.
The MWUF is also home to the Sheboygan County SaberCats, which have made it to the championship game in each of their first four seasons, winning two titles in the process.
