Construction crews will continue to be seen on Washington Street in Manitowoc today (October 23rd).
The city announced last week that the area of South 21st Street between Franklin and Marshall Streets will be closed for the replacement of traffic signals.
Early this morning (October 23rd), traffic signs were detouring motorists away from the intersection of Washington and 21st Street.
According to the city, it’s anticipated that the project will be done and opened to traffic next Thursday, November 1st.
Other road closures around Manitowoc include Michigan Avenue between North 22nd and 23rd Streets and North 18th Street between Menasha and Magnolia Avenue.
