One of the suspects accused of being involved in several poaching incidents has been officially charged.
WBAY reports that Jessica Kroening of Washington County is charged with misdemeanor counts of intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child, illegal shining of a deer, elk, or bear as a party to a crime, and resisting a conservation warden.
According to a criminal complaint, Kroening and three teenage boys are accused of going around three counties purposely hitting or shooting a deer before leaving it to rot.
They are also accused of harassing other wildlife like geese, raccoons, and turtles by bringing them into their home and harassing them before releasing them.
The four allegedly did the poaching in three counties, including Fond du Lac, Ozaukee, and Washington Counties.
Kroening will be back in court on December 12th.
The three teen boys will also face charges, but because they are under 18, they won’t be publicly identified.
