Child sexual assault charges have officially been filed against the former Sheboygan Falls Assistant Fire Chief.
Court records show that John Albright was in a Sheboygan County Court room on Wednesday (October 23rd) where he was handed a second-degree sexual assault of a child charge.
At the arraignment, Albright’s attorney entered a not-guilty plea and requested bond modifications be made, lowering it from $150,000 to $18,000 and allowing contact with his son.
Judge Rebecca Persick found probable cause in the case and chose Albright to be bound over for trial.
She also lowered his bail to $50,000 while allowing indirect contact with his son with the conditions of no contact with minors, no contact with the victim, he is not to consume drugs or alcohol. He is also not permitted to enter any establishment that sells alcohol.
Albright will next be in court for a scheduling conference on December 3rd.
