The charges against the two people who attacked a child with a pipe are now official.
17-year-old Addison M. Burnett was in court earlier this week where she was given a $2,000 recognizance bond on charges of Battery, Physical Abuse of a Child, and Disorderly Conduct.
Meanwhile, Leyder A. Lopez-Lopez was given a $350 recognizance bond on charges of Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, and Disorderly Conduct.
The duo were arrested after the victim, who was only listed as being under 18, reported being attacked by Burnett.
Lopez arrived shortly after, and allegedly struck the victim in a “sensitive location” with a metal pipe he had in the truck of his car.
Both were ordered to have no contact with the victim, the victim’s family, or the victim’s residence.
Burnett is due back in court on November 11th while Lopez is due on November 7th.
