Madison Police detained several teens on Saturday after they reportedly assaulted a man at East Towne Mall.
According to police, the teens initially asked the man for food, and he shared his french fries.
However, the group soon demanded more, and when the man attempted to contact the police, the teens allegedly attacked him.
The victim sustained cuts on his face and other minor injuries.
Madison Police confirmed that seven teens were taken into custody.
