The Manitowoc Lutheran boys Cross Country team is headed to the Division 3 state meet.
Coach Abbey Bubolz tells Seehafer News that the team of Seniors Ryder Vogt, Jacob Kanzenbach, Joseph Ungemach, and Braden Revak, along with Freshmen Elliott Franzen, Ezra Schulz, and Max Ciha, will be running at Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids this Saturday.
The group finished 2nd as a team at the Sectional meet over the weekend, while the girls finished 4th, just missing the cut.
Other area schools advancing to the boys’ state meet include De Pere and Green Bay Preble in Division 1, Kohler and Chilton in Division 2, and Valders and Cedar Grove-Belgium in Division 3.
Area girls teams to make the cut include Valders, Kohler, and Kewaunee in Division 3, Kiel in Division 2, and Notre Dame, and Green Bay Preble in Division 1.
