Tim Walz was in Manitowoc today to encourage voters to cast their ballots early.
Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels, WAF CEO Sachin Shivaram, and Marcos Alfaro Sr., the Secretary/Treasurer of the Wisconsin AFL CIO, introduced the Vice Presidential candidate on the Kamala Harris ticket inside the Manitowoc Pattern and Machining building in the industrial park.
While surrounded by members of the local manufacturing community, Walz got rousing applause when he said about the Trump/Vance campaign, “They know how to manufacture bull***, and they prove it every single day. That’s what they manufacture.”
The Governor of Minnesota encouraged voters to look toward the future, specifically in regard to what he said the Harris Administration would do for manufacturers around the country.
“We can keep what we’ve always done out innovating, out, competing the rest of the world. That’s what we’ve always done,” he said. “We’ll cut red tape to unleash American potential and industry so we can build more and build faster.”
Governor Walz also encouraged everyone to vote.
“First and foremost, you need to vote,” he encouraged those in attendance. “If you need to vote early, in-person at any location across these municipalities, bring your ID with you. You can register and vote at the same time during early voting. It’s underway now on Election Day, November 5th.”
With Wisconsin being a big battleground state in the Presidential Election, Former President Donald Trump will be in Green Bay this Wednesday, where former Green Bay Packer Quarterback Brett Favre is also slated to speak.
