Terry Jean Risch (nee Foos), age 62, passed away on October 18, 2024, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, due to brain cancer.
Born on September 18, 1962, in San Diego, California, Terry was known for her kind and optimistic spirit that brightened the lives of those around her.
Terry leaves behind a loving family: her husband, Al Risch; her brothers: John Aye Foos Jr. and Jeffrey William Foos; her sisters: Deborah Lynne Geib and Dawn Marie Foos-Schulenburg (Eric); and her cherished children, sons: Dylan (Krystan) Risch, Ryan (Elaina) Phipps, Mathew (Charity) Phipps; and daughters: Ashley (Kyle) Phipps and Mariah (CJ) Risch.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Carol Mae Kappelman and John Aye Foos Sr., and mother-in-law and father-in-law: Judy and Robert Risch.
Terry will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and enduring optimism. Her presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Terry worked at AmericInn Manitowoc, Silver Lake Convent, All Occasions Restaurant and Catering, and Heavenly Angels.
She enjoyed shopping, Glamping, and spending time with her 17 grandchildren: Lacey, Kendall, Theo, Levi, Abram, Eden, Eve, Solomon, Lucas, Liam, Rosemary, Thomas, Kaydence, Kolbe, Kaveryn, Adali, and baby boy, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Terry will be remembered for her courage, strength, and perseverance in fighting cancer. She won the race!

Cremation has occurred at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc. A Life Celebration for Terry will be held at Knox’s Silver Valley, 1222 S. Alverno Rd., Manitowoc, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
