One is in custody after two drug busts in Oshkosh uncover cocaine, cash, and THC products.
The Oshkosh Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Unit completed two search warrants on Thursday (October 24th) in the 1700 block of Lombard Avenue and 1000 block of Mount Vernon Street in the City of Oshkosh.
At the residence located on Lombard Avenue, authorities located 30 grams of cocaine, 50 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and $3,000 in cash.
Later in the day, at the Mount Vernon residence, $330,000 in cash, one kilogram of cocaine, 7.5 pounds of marijuana, and over 1,000 THC cartridges were recovered.
Following the searches, several bank accounts linked to the drug operation as well as vehicles purchased by and used to deliver drugs are being investigated.
The bank accounts are believed to hold several hundreds of thousands of dollars related to the sale and distribution of drugs recovered at the scenes.
As a result, a 51-year-old Oshkosh man was arrested and is now facing a long list of drug-related charges, including possession with the intent to deliver cocaine over 40 grams, and possession with intent to deliver THC over 2,500 grams to 10,000 grams.
The case has been referred to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
