The U.S. Agriculture Deputy Secretary is slated to make a visit to a couple of Eastern Wisconsin cities today (October 30th).
Deputy Secretary Xochitl Torres Small will be making a stop at a fertilizer production facility in Manitowoc this morning, where she is expected to announce a major investment that will help producers and small businesses in rural communities in Wisconsin and nationwide.
After that visit, Deputy Secretary Torres Small will travel to a local meat processing facility in Kaukauna, where she will take a tour before highlighting recent investments to increase competition, create jobs in rural areas, and expand market access for producers.
The time and location of the visits have not been made public, but Seehafer News has been granted credentials for the Manitowoc visit.
