The Manitowoc Elks Lodge recently made donations to a pair of local organizations. Lodge #687 donated $350 to the Disabled American Veterans to help local veterans in need of services.
Additionally, Lakeshore Humane Society received $1,100 to help them fund the construction of a new facility.
The Elks Lodge raised the money through their Elktoberfest fundraiser in late September.
This is just the latest of the Lodge’s philanthropic efforts, as they previously made donations to the Salvation Army, The Haven Men’s Homeless Shelter, and the Manitowoc County Veterans group, just to name a few.
