The last round of 2024 state local road funding has been paid out.
An announcement from Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers’s office that municipalities across the Badger state are getting a share of $138 million for the fourth quarter payments.
For General Transportation and Connecting Highway Aid, Manitowoc County itself is getting about $468,610, while the city of Manitowoc is getting about $614,000.
Two Rivers gets a little more than $148,000, while Kiel is getting almost $90,000. The Village of Mishicot will receive $15,820, while Reedsville will get $25,213, and Valders will get $5,818.
Communities in Calumet, Kewaunee, Door, Fond du Lac, and Brown Counties are also receiving some funding from the state’s fourth-quarter payments.
