The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that took place last week.
Oshkosh officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Oregon Street on Friday (November 1st) on the report of gunshots.
Upon arrival, officers gathered information from citizens who made the claims of hearing the gunfire.
After some investigation, authorities determined an argument broke out between a group of individuals in a vehicle and a pedestrian.
During the argument, the pedestrian pulled out a firearm and began shooting at the vehicle.
The vehicle in question was not struck, however, an unrelated, unoccupied vehicle was hit.
Nobody was injured during the incident and, as of now, the shooter is yet to be identified.
Law enforcement is investigating the shooting incident, and the public is encouraged to reach out with any helpful information and to check security camera footage.
