A major road project in Two Rivers is completed.
According to City Manager Greg Buckley’s report, the Roosevelt Avenue reconstruction project is done and includes new sanitary and storm sewers, water mains, and parking.
The city was able to narrow the 12th Street and Roosevelt Avenue intersection as well as 9th and Roosevelt.
Parking was also transitioned from the west side to the east side at 10th Street.
The project was about $5.2 million. The city is now working on the area of 32nd, 33rd, and 34th Streets between Tannery Road and Adams Street.
