Manitowoc County’s Hunger Coalition is looking for more volunteers to help those in need on Thanksgiving.
The Coalition is hosting its free Thanksgiving Community Meal later in the month, and numerous volunteer positions are still available.
The meal will be held at Hope Community Church, with two shifts available from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for interested volunteers.
Positions still needing to be filled include dishwasher, food server, drive-thru server, meal runner, cook, and dine-in server.
To-go meals will be available from 10:30 in the morning until 11:15 and dine-in meals will be served from noon until 1:00 in the afternoon with a limited number of meals available.
Registration is required, which can be done by calling United Way Manitowoc County.
United Way Manitowoc County, who can be reached at 920-682-8888, is also who to call if you are looking to volunteer at the free Thanksgiving Community Meal on November 28th.
