A Manitowoc man is back in jail just days after he posted his bond for a drug delivery case.
Jonathan K. McClary was arrested following a traffic stop on November 5th, along with three other individuals, after he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
As a part of his $500 cash bail, McClary was ordered to have no contact with the co-defendants.
However, Manitowoc Police learned of two instances where McClary called one of the two female codefendants who remain in the Manitowoc County Jail.
When confronted about the phone calls, McClary allegedly told police that he “didn’t think it mattered because (the individual) is in jail and not out on the streets.”
The arresting officer informed McClary that no contact means no contact, even by phone.
A THC vaping device was found on McClary during his arrest, leading to charges of Possession of THC and four counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
