Grow it Forward of Manitowoc continues its mission to end hunger with a major fundraiser.
The Empty Bowls fundraiser is scheduled for tomorrow night (November 14th) from 5:30 to 8:00 at The Venue at Union Square.
At the event, attendees will select hand-painted or crafted ceramic bowls to sample soup and bread from local chefs.
Attendees will also take their bowls home to remind them of the Hungry Bowls message that someone’s bowl is always empty.
To complement the fundraising efforts, Grow it Forward will also award the Cornucopia Award to a person, business, or organization whose contributions have helped nourish thousands over the past year.
Live music will accompany raffles, silent auctions, and testimonials from those positively affected by the annual fundraiser and Grow it Forward’s efforts to eliminate hunger.
