The Wisconsin DNR is seeking public input on the master plan for a park in Door County.
A master plan variance has been proposed for Newport State Park, which, depending on public opinion, could see an addition of a 100-seat amphitheater.
The proposed variance of the Northern Lake Michigan Coastal Regional Master Plan would also provide new, expanded recreation opportunities in the park.
The public is encouraged to submit comments regarding the proposed variance to the master plan involving Newport State Park prior to November 25th.
