A bedroom fire caused quite a bit of damage to an Appleton home.
Appleton Firefighters were called to the fire at Welcome Circle at 8:30 pm Tuesday (November 12th).
The initial call indicated that there was a fire in a bedroom and that everyone in the house had been evacuated.
Firefighters showed up and found smoke and fire coming from the residence with a neighboring home nearby.
The fire was attacked aggressively while protecting the other home and was put out in about 20 minutes.
No injuries were reported, and everyone was able to get out of the house.
The home’s damage is about $120,000.
Working smoke detectors were found in the home. Appleton Police, WE Energies, and the Neenah-Menasha Fire Department assisted the Appleton Fire Department.
