A Plymouth man has pleaded not guilty for his role in a fatal crash in Sheboygan County earlier this year.
Court documents show that 24-year-old Ethan Schmitz appeared in court for his arraignment on Tuesday when he entered a not-guilty plea.
Following the arraignment, the 24-year-old also posted his $15,000 cash bond.
Schmitz is facing two felony charges: homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle and reckless driving causing great bodily harm.
WHBL reports that the crash occurred on June 7th on Highway 57 near Adell.
It is alleged that Schmitz failed to stop at a stop sign while crossing over Highway 57 and struck a vehicle traveling south.
Both passengers of the southbound vehicle were severely injured, and the driver later died of his injuries.
While Schmitz is out on bond, he must wear a GPS monitor, not operate a motor vehicle, and is not allowed within Belgium, Wisconsin.
He is next due in court on February 10th for a scheduling conference.
