The Golden K Kiwanis of Manitowoc has donated $700 each to Peter’s Pantry, St. Vincent de Paul, and the Salvation Army to aid their efforts to provide food to individuals and families in the Lakeshore area.
Funds for the Golden K 2024 Food Drive come from members, individual donations, and a portion of monies raised by the club’s brat frys, M&M Drive, and more.
Other top Golden K beneficiaries this year have been student scholarships and Easter Seals Camp Wawbeek.
Everyone is welcome to attend Golden K’s weekly Tuesday 9 a.m. gatherings at the Senior Center, 3330 Custer Street to learn more about service opportunities.
