Patrick “Pat” Plekan, age 65, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away peacefully November 14, 2024, with his loving family by his side at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc.
Patrick was born February 14, 1959, in Manitowoc to the late Stephen and Emma (Piefer) Plekan. He attended St. Boniface School in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1977. Pat married Anne Keehan at St. Boniface on May 14, 1983. He was employed at Parker Hannifin 40 years until his retirement. Pat enjoyed watching the news, playing cards, golfing, and his weekends with the guys.
He is survived by his wife: Anne Plekan; three children: Tyler (Jordan) Plekan, Tony Plekan, LeAnne Plekan; brothers and sisters: Andy (Linda) Plekan, David (Debi) Plekan, Peggy Plekan, Mary (Randy) Bowen; brother-in-law: Keith Bloom. Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Stephen and Emma Plekan; brother: John Plekan; and sister: Christina Bloom.
Cremation has occurred at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home & Crematory. A Life Celebration Social will be held for family and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. At 12:30 p.m. a prayer service will be led by Deacon Rich Bahnnaman.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
