Dogs2DogTags of Plymouth is partnering with local businesses to help support the veterans in the community.
Dogs2DogTags rescues, trains, and places dogs with service members who have been diagnosed with post-combat stress and anxiety.
Through the end of November, they are teaming up with Petskull Brewing and Submariner’s Pub in Manitowoc, along with businesses in Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth, Elkhart Lake, Beechwood, and Boltonville.
16 businesses in the area will be accepting donations on Dogs2DogTag’s behalf to help in their effort to provide veterans with a trained service dog, free of cost.
The non-profit understands the struggles men and women experience after returning home and wants to do its part in easing those struggles.
