The Salvation Army of Manitowoc County is bell ringing yet again this year for the Red Kettle Campaign to help those in need.
There are currently bell ringers at numerous Manitowoc County stores including Piggly Wiggly – Manitowoc & Two Rivers, Rob’s Family Market, Walmart, Festival, and Hobby Lobby.
Starting on Friday, November 29th, they will have bell ringers at Pick N’ Save in Manitowoc and Two Rivers, along with Walgreens at the Manitowoc and Two Rivers locations.
The Pick N’ Save Manitowoc location will be a little different than the traditional Red Kettle. At Pick N’ Save Manitowoc, there will be a ‘tap to give’ sign, meaning instead of cash, anyone can give a donation by using a chip-enabled credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay to donate at the kettle.
The donation options will be either $5, $10, or $20.
The Salvation Army of Manitowoc County has set out a goal to earn $150,000 to help them continue to serve our local community.
Another way to donate is by using ‘Text to Give’, by texting “Manitowoc” to the number 24365.
