Wisconsin has released its state report card and many area high schools placed near the top.
Wisconsin’s Department of Instruction (DPI) releases the school report cards yearly, considering four priority areas including achievement, growth, target group outcomes, and on-track to graduation.
In three surrounding areas, conventional four-year high schools finished in the top 12 in the overall grades.
Kohler High School received the third-highest rating in the state of 89.8, Manitowoc Lutheran High finished narrowly behind them with a score of 88.7, and Cedar Grove-Belgium was ranked 12th with a score of 84.5.
These scores gave the schools the distinction of “significantly exceeds expectations.”
Other schools in the area also rank quite high with the distinction of “exceeding expectations,” including but not limited to Oostburg, Elkhart Lake, Sheboygan Falls, Sheboygan Lutheran, Preble, Green Bay East, and Valders High Schools.
