The School District of Sheboygan Falls is asking residents why two referendum questions on the ballot failed.
The school district has put out a survey for the public to fill out regarding the questions that must be completed by December 1st.
There were two facility-based proposed referendum questions on the November 5th ballot, both of which were voted down.
The first question was about a $70 million project that would have included the addition of a community fitness center and a 4-year-old kindergarten space at the elementary school, among other changes.
The second question proposed no more than $21.5 million to build a new gymnasium and a multi-sport turf field at the high school.
The district has stated their facility needs are still a pressing matter in order to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for all students.
The School District of Sheboygan Falls wants to better understand exactly why these questions failed.
If you would like to provide feedback, the brief survey can be found online at sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us.
