Police in Sheboygan are feeling the effects while the city deals with the recent breach of their network.
The Sheboygan Police Department has announced that the City of Sheboygan IT department has isolated the police department’s network out of “an abundance of caution.”
Sheboygan Communications Specialist Veronica Valdez has said they are working with experts to assess the situation and restore full functionality to their and the police department’s systems as soon as possible.
As Sheboygan PD works to fully functionalize its network while maintaining a high level of customer service, it has decided not to sell 2025 pet licenses this year.
Individuals needing to purchase a pet license for next year must wait until January 1st, 2025, to buy one.
The Sheboygan Police Department has apologized for any inconvenience this may cause as it resolves issues related to the network breach.
