“Butch” Arthur W. Haese, age 77, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024.
He was born on April 25, 1947 in Manitowoc to Arthur G. Haese and Wonnie (Murray) Haese-Chouinard.
He married Helen Funk on September 9, 1972 at Holy Redeemer in Two Rivers.
Butch enjoyed working on old cars. His real passion was stockcar racing. He raced various local tracks. Butch had numerous fast times and feature wins, including a track championship at his home town track, 141 Speedway during his racing career.
He also enjoyed following his grandson, Alex, racing karts and legend cars.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Helen Haese of Two Rivers; one daughter, Kristine Haese (Tim) of Fond du Lac; one son, Gregg (Kate) Haese of Manitowoc; and one grandson, Alex Haese also of Manitowoc. He is also survived by his siblings: Nancy (Donald) Moddie, Cynthia Wallander, Judy Seifert, Jean (Steven) Armstrong, Sandra (Dan) Evers, and Denis (Darlene) Haese.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur G. Haese and Wonnie Haese-Chouinard; and his in-laws Norbert and Marie Funk.
In accordance with Butch’s wishes there will be no funeral services held.
