Leon LeClair, age 65, of Two Rivers, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at his residence.
Leon was born on January 30, 1959 in Two Rivers, son of the late Thomas and Celia (Janowski) LeClair. He attended schools in Mishicot and graduated with the class of 1977 from Mishicot High School. On May 1, 1982 Leon married the love of his life Nancy Fait at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Leon was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, member of Big Brothers, and mentor of seven boys throughout the years. He worked at Manitowoc Tool & Machine as a CNC Machinist until his retirement in 2021. Leon was called the “Instigator” for starting the MTM Goldie Cup and MTM Senior Skip Day. He was a great fisherman and hunter and enjoyed travelling all over America on his Honda Goldwing motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife: Nancy LeClair, Two Rivers; two brothers and one sister: Steve (Darlene) LeClair, Two Rivers; Ellie Webb Erdman, Two Rivers, Glen LeClair, Manitowoc; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Michael (Gayle) Fait, Marshfield, Linda (Dan) Neve, Marshfield, Mary Lou (Rich) Volk, Marshfield, Patricia (Jim) Shaw, Marshfield, Kathleen (Dan) Bauer, Marshfield, Darrell Gates, Pittsville, WI, Eric Mixdorf, Denver, IA, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Celia LeClair; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Stanley and Joan Fait; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Karen Gates, Sharon Mixdorf, Michael Webb, Larry Erdman.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 6, 2024 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Road, Two Rivers. Rev. David Pleier will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am.
