Something electrical caused a shed fire near Appleton yesterday (December 2nd).
The Town of Buchanan Fire Department was called to Clancy Lamers Road on a report of heavy smoke coming from the shed.
When fire crews arrived, they found flames coming from the northeast side of the shed, and crews set up to start extinguishing the blaze.
The fire was knocked down in 15 minutes, and work was transitioned to overhaul to make sure all hot spots were taken care of.
Buchanan Firefighters determined that the fire was electrical and had an undetermined origin. The amount of fire damage caused isn’t known either.
Fire crews cleared the scene in about two and a half hours.
The Buchanan Fire Department thanked Combined Locks, Wrightstown, Kimberly, Hollandtown, and Greenleaf fire departments for their help in fighting the fire, along with Outagamie County Law Enforcement and Outagamie Couty CERT.
