Ahead of any major snowfall, winter parking rules have gone into effect in Plymouth.
The winter parking regulations took effect on December 1st and will run until March 15th of next year.
During the winter months in the city, no person is permitted to park any vehicle on any street or alley between 2:00 and 6:00 a.m.
This does not apply, however, to any medical professional treating patients during an emergency.
Additional emergency exceptions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are required to be submitted before 2:00 a.m. each day.
Those requesting permission to park on the street overnight are asked to have the location and vehicle’s license plate readily available.
No exemptions will be granted on nights with significant snowfall.
To learn more about the winter parking rules or to request an exemption, call the Plymouth Police Department at 920-893-6541.
