The man convicted of a double homicide is getting a separate trial moved to next month.
Fox 11 reports that 50-year-old Richard Sotka could go to trial on January 8th for attacking a prison guard while in custody for the homicide of Rhonda Cegelski and Paula O’Connor last year.
A lawyer told a Brown County Judge that Sotka hasn’t been able to view the discovery of his jail attack case while in prison.
He allegedly hit the jail workers on the head.
Sotka is serving two consecutive life sentences for the 2023 double homicide.
He was arrested outside of Wisconsin after Cegelski and O’Connor were found dead in Celgelski’s duplex in Green Bay.
