The Sheboygan Recycling Center will be changing its hours of operation.
The Sheboygan Department of Public Works has announced that beginning today (December 9th), the recycling center is on its winter schedule.
The Sheboygan Recycling Center will now be open Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
These hours will continue until March 31st.
They have also announced their holiday schedule and will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as well as New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Additionally, after Christmas, a garbage and recycling truck will be stationed at the recycling center from December 26th to January 3rd to assist Sheboygan residents in disposing of excess waste or recyclables from the holidays.
However, the DPW requests citizens to not bag any recyclables.
The City of Sheboygan Recycling Center is located at 2026 New Jersey Avenue, east of the Municipal Service Building’s east gate.
