A Waukesha man has been charged with murder after allegedly killing his neighbor and concealing the body for several months.
Prosecutors filed formal charges against Kevin Lychwick on Monday.
Authorities claim Lychwick shot his neighbor and then hid the body under a tarp in the backyard for months.
The remains were discovered in October by a maintenance worker.
Investigators say Lychwick had a “hit list,” which included the man he is accused of killing.
Lychwick faces first-degree homicide charges, along with felony charges for hiding a corpse.
If convicted, he could spend life in prison.
