There could be some more housing coming to Two Rivers.
During a joint meeting of the city council and plan commission, the groups heard about a Conditional Use Permit for assisted living for the elderly and hear a proposal for new apartments in the 3000 block of Forest Avenue.
Quasius Construction, out of Sheboygan, would work on building the apartments.
City Manager Greg Buckley tells Seehafernews.com that the project would include two 26-unit apartment buildings.
He also says the council is also considering an economic development agreement for some TIF assistance.
Buckley described, “That draft agreement for assistance also provides for the city council to sign off on site and architectural plans.”
The assisted living facility would be operated under NSH Two River, which also owns and runs Northland Lodge Assisted Living. NSH operates 70 nursing and assisted living facilities in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and North Dakota.
No action was taken during the joint session.
