A West Allis woman who started a fire in an apartment building last summer following a domestic dispute will avoid prison time.
Last week, a judge sentenced Kennedy Robinson-Hall to three years behind bars but chose to suspend the sentence, instead placing her on 40 months of probation.
The fire near 81st and Greenfield was largely contained to Robinson-Hall’s apartment, with no injuries reported.
Most neighbors were able to remain in their homes.
Robinson-Hall pleaded guilty to first-degree recklessly endangering safety, while two more severe charges were dropped.
