A Kohler High School team was one of four honored by the WIAA for team sportsmanship.
The Kohler Girls Tennis Team was given the award at the State Girls Team Tennis Tournament held back in October at Neilsen Tennis Stadium in Madison.
It’s the second time a Blue Bombers squad has been given the award.
The previous selection came back in 1999 with their boys’ basketball team.
Other winners included the Appleton North Lighting Volleyball team, Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran volleyball, and the Elkhorn Boys Soccer team. Several schools were also honorable mentions, including Kiel, Sheboygan Christian, and Neenah.
Award winners receive a trophy and banner recognition of the honor, while honorable mentions will get a certificate of recognition.
